Legal consulting is a confidential matter. WINHELLER Attorneys at Law offer legal work at the highest level. We represent your interests in a loyal, independent and discreet manner. You can expect from us that we carefully examine your overall situation, personal goals and business objectives, while providing you with the appropriate individual advice.

Individual and Flexible Fee Agreements

Our individual legal services require individual fee agreements. We generally offer our services on the basis of an hourly fee. The hourly rate depends on the complexity of the case and the degree of specialization of the respective attorney working on your case. In more extensive cases we can also agree to a flat fee for our legal work if this is reasonable for both parties. For long-term cases, we offer long-term consulting agreements which ensure you legal and tax advice at any time within a flexible hourly contingent. Occasionally, we bill on the basis of the German Code of Attorney Fees. These statutory fees oftentimes apply when we take your case to the courts, specifically in competition law, copyright law, and trademark law cases. In high-profile cases also a contingency fee can be agreed upon, notably if a third party like our US partner firm Barroway Topaz Kessler Meltzer & Check, LLP or an insurance company is willing to fund your case.

Usually we require an advance payment before we start work on your case. Any advance payments will be credited against our interim and final invoices.

Our fee structure is as flexible as our personal legal advice. So, please do not hesitate to ask us for the applicable fees and we will thoroughly discuss our attorney fees and any costs. Truth and clarity apply from the beginning of our client/attorney relationship.
