Martin Sach heads the firm's securities law and capital market law department. He works extrajudicially as well as before all German authorities and courts. He mainly advises German and international private and institutional investors and financial service providers.
Martin Sach is an experienced trial attorney and has conducted many high-profile and complex securities trials. He mainly focuses on cases that encounter specific procedural problems. As to his extrajudicial work, Martin Sach attaches great importance to draft legally compliant contracts and to advise our clients on both their liability risks and their legal opportunities. Together with Andreas Warkentin, Martin Sach is also in charge of the firm´s US securities litigation department and advises European institutional investors on their rights and responsibilities with regard to US securities class actions. When it comes to filing suit in the US, he closely coordinates all necessary steps with our partner law firm Barroway Topaz Kessler Meltzer & Check, LLP, Philadelphia (USA).
Martin Sach studied law at the University of Freiburg and gained comprehensive experience in his fields of interest during his time as a legal clerk at the District Court of Stuttgart. He constantly improves his skills in his specialties as well as beyond by regularly attending legal seminars and courses. For instance, Martin Sach is participating in the Executive LL.M. program in Insurance Law at the University of Hamburg. He is a frequently requested interviewee by the media especially for securities law and capital market law questions.
