Jan Reschke

Jan Reschke has been a permanent member of our team since the end of 2008, when he joined us as a student employee. He mainly assists the attorneys in their day-to-day legal work, especially in the areas of intellectual property law and media law. Furthermore, Jan Reschke edits most of the firm’s newsletters. After completing his law studies at Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University, Frankfurt, he is now writing his doctoral thesis, aside his employment.

During his studies, Jan Reschke has already dealt with intellectual property law on both national and international level. His scholarly thesis is on private international law. However, his main interests lie in the fields of trademark law, copyright law, competition law and media law. As an active musician and keen event organizer, his main focus as a trainee lawyer is on advising musicians and artists on their legal rights and responsibilities.
