Marcel Bogun advises and represents our firm's clients in
the fields of securities law, copyright law and competition
law, including all aspects of German intellectual property
law. Especially in the IP law field the extrajudicial settlement
of disputes in long-term business relationships demands for
evaluating all legal opportunities for mediation and abitration
which means that Marcel attaches great importance to draw
out-of-court settlement contracts and to represent the legal
interests of our clients in arbitration proceedings with the
opponent party.
In addition, Marcel is a highly experienced employment and
labor law attorney and mainly represents medium-sided companies
and well-paid executive employees. He focuses on negotiating
out-of-court settlements with employees on behalf of our corporate
clients which often includes marathon discussions and negotiations
with staff representatives
and trade unions. While working on these issues Marcel always
keeps in mind the flexibilities of the German social security
laws which help find proper solutions even in problematic
and complex situations. Besides his out-of-court work Marcel
also represents our clients
before all German authorities and civil and labor courts if
litigation is inevitable to resolve the matter.
Besides his day-to-day engagements, Marcel puts a main emphasis
on his academic work. Currently he prepares an essay concerning
comparative advertising.
Marcel studied law at the University
of Dresden. In the course of his studies, he soon specialized
in his working fields.
