Since January 2008 Mr. Christoph Klein
has been working part time for Winheller Attorneys at Law.
Mr. Klein mainly supports Ms. Oberbeck and Mr. Winheller in
the fields of nonprofit (tax) law and the law of charitable
organizations, like nonprofit associations and private foundations.
Mr. Klein studied law at the University of Constance and the
German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. In the
course of his studies he worked for the University of Constance´s
Chair of Civil Law, Labor Law, European Law, and International
Private Law. Because of his special interests in the Italian
legal system and his fluency in the Italian language, he successfully
interned with Italian law firms in Milan and Rome.
After having passed his first Legal State Exam, Mr. Klein
started his two-year legal traineeship at the superior court
of Karlsruhe. Later on he also worked for a law office specialised
in Italian business law, for a judge at a lower district court
in the civil law department, and for the office of the district
attorney in the criminal business law department. Mr. Klein
will soon start his last stage of his legal traineeship for
one of the biggest German energy providers and is expected
to obtain his license to practise law as an attorney in the
midyear of 2009.
