Since the beginning of her two-year
legal traineeship Ms. Maria-Susanna Morche has been working
part time for Winheller Attorneys at Law. She mainly works
in the fields of US securities class actions and in the firm´s
music, competition and entertainment law department. Because
of her profound language skills she is one of the first contact
persons for many non-German clients of the firm.
Ms. Morche studied law at the Universities of Cologne and
Munich, Germany, and obtained the French "Licence" and "Maîtrise
en droit" during her two years' studies at the University
of Paris School of Law. She also was awarded a Master of Laws,
LL.M., in tax law from the Universities of Cologne and Paris
I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
After having passed her first Legal State Exam in Munich,
Ms. Morche worked as a research fellow at the Duesseldorf
Heinrich-Heine University´s Chair of German and European
Private Law, Roman Law, and Comparative History of Private
Law. In her dissertation-thesis which will be concluded soon
Ms. Morche examines the development of the French Law of Restitution
in the 19th century.
