Attorney Nico Glöckle specializes in criminal tax law and commercial criminal law. As a partner, he is also responsible for our Stuttgart office.

The focus of his work is the interface between criminal law and tax law, in particular as defense attorney in criminal tax proceedings. In these proceedings, Nico Glöckle covers both the tax and the criminal law components. For this reason, Nico Glöckle holds the title of certified specialist for tax law and is also a certified defense attorney for criminal tax law (DSV e.V.).

Self-disclosures under criminal tax law represent another consulting service, especially in complex cases related to inheritance and gift tax as well as cryptocurrencies.

Due to his tax focus, Nico Glöckle equally assists clients in all tax disputes with the tax office. This includes not only the support of (contentious) tax audits, but also objection proceedings before the tax offices and lawsuits before the tax courts. A particular focus of interest is real estate taxation.

Likewise, Nico Glöckle also advises and defends public figures and entrepreneurs in selected cases of general criminal law. In doing so, he is characterized by his high level of discretion and confidentiality. Nico Glöckle has already completed the specialist attorney course for criminal law in 2020 and continues his education in this area on an annual basis. Finally, defense in commercial criminal law and preventive (criminal law) advice to companies (witness assistance, internal investigations) are also part of his range of services.

He started his legal career in January 2017 at CMS Hasche Sigle in Munich in the area of commercial criminal law/compliance, before joining Ufer Knauer, a boutique firm specializing in commercial and tax criminal law, in October 2018. As a result of a move to his old home, he joined Frick + Partner in Stuttgart, a firm also focused on tax and commercial criminal law, in August 2019. He worked in this unit for almost four years before joining WINHELLER. He graduated from the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen in 2014. Nico Glöckle joined WINHELLER in 2023 as a partner at the Stuttgart office.
