Commercial Lawyer, LL.M., External Data Protection Officer
Stefanie Fischer is associated with our law firm as a commercial lawyer (Wirtschaftsjuristin) specializing in data protection law. She advises companies and nonprofit organizations on all issues relating to the protection of personal data and assumes the role of an external data protection officer. Stefanie Fischer also specializes in advising religious institutions that take a special position in data protection law. She supports various religious communities in implementing special church-related data protection provisions.
The focus of her work is on providing advice on the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act. She helps our clients comply with data protection requirements by advising them on how to design their internal processes in conformity with data protection requirements and by developing tailor-made data protection management systems.
She completed her bachelor's degree in business and law and in business administration at TU Bergakademie the technical university of Freiberg. Stefanie Fischer then continued studying technology law at the same university. She successfully completed her studies with a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in 2016.
Prior to joining WINHELLER, Stefanie Fischer was a research assistant at the chairs of Civil Law and Public Law at TU Freiberg.
In her leisure time, she volunteers as head of the legal department of the Junior Consultant Network (JCNetwork) e.V., the umbrella organization of student consultancies in Germany. Her interests also include literature and going to the soccer stadium.
