Eva-Maria Wohlgemuth works as a business lawyer at our office in Frankfurt/Main. Her main focus is on tax law and the preparation of tax returns for high net worth individuals, especially crypto investors. She supports them in all aspects of taxation of cryptographic currencies. In particular, she is responsible for assessing complex tax law issues in connection with the sale of cryptocurrencies.
In addition, Eva-Maria Wohlgemuth is a member of our U.S. Desk and advises our German and European corporate clients on all questions of U.S. visa and immigration law. For all U.S. projects she supports our clients in the application process and in choosing the right visa.
Eva-Maria Wohlgemuth started her legal studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and later switched to the FernUniversität in Hagen to focus on business management. Her main focus was on business administration, private international law, European anti-discrimination law, family law and inheritance law.
During her studies, she additionally focused on U.S. law and improved her excellent English language skills during longer stays in Washington D.C. between 2015 and 2018.
