Daniel Mak supports our team as tax assistant at our headquarters in Frankfurt/Main.
As a member of our tax team, he is responsible for the preparation of financial accounting, annual financial statements or statements on excess of receipts over expenses and the corresponding tax returns of our nonprofit clients. A main focus of his activities is the consulting and support of associations (nonprofit associations and trade organizations), nonprofit foundations and nonprofit corporations (gGmbHs, gAGs, gUGs) in their annual declaration duties.
In addition, Daniel Mak also takes care of our commercial, mainly mid-sized clients as well as private tax returns with international implications.
He successfully completed his master's degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz and earned the title Master of Taxation. Before joining WINHELLER in 2020, Daniel Mak worked for four years as a tax assistant in a medium-sized law firm in Eschborn, where he was responsible for clients from the fields of trade, crafts, medicine, food service and professional associations. His main tasks primarily included the preparation of private income tax returns as well as the preparation of financial accounting and annual financial statements.
In his spare time, Daniel Mak has a passion for aviation and travelling to faraway countries.
