Susanne Sopart is a German Certified Tax Advisor and an auditor with over ten years of experience in auditing and advising financial institutions. She supports WINHELLER as Of Counsel.

As an auditor, she worked at one of the BIG4 auditing companies for many years, where she audited banks and financial service providers and advised on risk management, regulation and accounting. In addition, she worked for a large law firm, advising on a wide range of specialist topics in the areas of tax law, accounting, foundations, corporate transactions, business valuation, M&A and due diligence.

Her special areas of expertise include crypto tax law, bank accounting, financial instruments and the supervisory requirements for financial institutions in the area of risk management and regulation.

Susanne Sopart began her professional career with a degree in economics and a subsequent position as a banking supervisory auditor at the Deutsche Bundesbank. This was followed by positions at a BIG4 in the Risk Management & Regulatory as well as Financial Services Audit departments and at a large law firm in the department for Tax Private Clients.

In 2017, Susanne Sopart was appointed auditor and tax advisor. She supports our firm as a freelancer with her comprehensive expertise at the interface of tax law, regulation and digitalization.
