Pro Bono Responsibility
We assume social responsibility
WINHELLER assumes social responsibility and promotes pro bono ideas. Therefore, our advisors support social projects free of charge in various ways with their legal and tax expertise.
- Free webinars for NPOs
On the platform "Connecting Help", WINHELLER organizes free monthly webinars for non-profit organizations, jointly with the partner Haus des Stiftens gGmbH. Topics range from non-profit law to employment law.
- Free consulting services
In particular cases, we provide specific legal and tax consulting services to support non-profit projects for NPOs selected by UPJ e.V. (association of dedicated companies and nonprofit organizations in Germany).
- Personal commitment in NPOs
Our advisors volunteer in various non-profit organizations. Among others we support the German Red Cross and Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen e.V.
- Free presentations, workshops, and seminars
Our legal experts give free presentations at national and international events with social impact and at events of innovative character. Recent examples include the Impact Circle of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, the interdisciplinary platform "p2p Labs - Connecting the Blockchain World" and the Blockchain Forum in Paris.
- Promoting science and research
WINHELLER is perennial sponsor of the symposium "Vereinsrechtstag" (German for law of associations day) in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Lars Leuschner, Professor of Civil Law, Commercial and Corporate Law at the University of Osnabrück.
Pro Bono Deutschland e.V.
WINHELLER is a proud member of Pro Bono Deutschland e.V., an association founded by a number of large law firms in February 2011. As part of their civic engagement, all members feel connected with the idea of providing free legal advice for charitable purposes. The association is committed to ensuring that the legal profession’s existing commitment becomes more visible and is thereby further promoted. All association members intend to set good examples and motivate law firms and attorneys to further supplement existing offerings.
