Merger with Tax Advisors Matussek and new offices in Leipzig, Stuttgart and Aalen

Frankfurt/Main, 02.02.2022 - WINHELLER powerfully starts the new year and comprehensively expands its tax consulting services. The merger with the tax firm "Steuerberater Matussek" enhances the firm by more than 20 employees in tax advice and two additional locations in Aalen and Stuttgart. Another new addition is the Leipzig office. As a result, 12 tax advisors and 29 tax employees provide a comprehensive service in the areas of NPO, financial service providers, crypto, international commercial clients, hotel/food service and medical professions. The entire team of the WINHELLER has now grown to approximately 100 employees.

In the course of bringing in his firm, Tax Advisor Sascha Matussek joined WINHELLER as a partner at the beginning of the year. He assumes responsibility for the Tax Department, while the company’s namesake, Attorney Stefan Winheller, concentrates on the Legal Department. "Sascha and I share the same visions and are committed to joining forces to take our firm to the next level," says Stefan Winheller. "Together with my award-winning team, we can now, thanks to WINHELLER's legal expertise, live up to our claim of offering holistic advice at all levels even more than before," says Matussek, citing his motives for the merger. "The consistently growing success of our customers - that and nothing less is our common goal." 

WINHELLER was also recently able to recruit tax advisors Romuald Schmitke, Jens Jacob and Madeleine Conrad, who have augmented the team since the start of the new year. At the same time, WINHELLER opened another location in Leipzig with Jacob and Conrad. As a result, the firm is now represented in eight locations nationwide: In addition to offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Leipzig and Aalen, the firm maintains conference rooms in Berlin, Hamburg and Karlsruhe.

The tax law and tax consulting firm of WINHELLER has won multiple awards. Both the magazines FOCUS-SPEZIAL and brand eins /thema list the firm among the top business law firms in the field of tax law and among the top tax law firms in Germany.
